After hunting around for a replacement faucet at the local retailers, I finally went online to find an exact replacement. My original faucet was deteriorated beyond repair, and when I learned that Home Depot had the same model, I was pleased. I fully expected the replacement to be a snap. Well, it was anything but.
When it came time to install the new faucet, the screws were long enough only to make about 1/2 turn, and that was it. So, I contacted the manufacturer and they connected me to their "plumber". After several minutes of explaining the problem and checking different things on the faucet for them (while on the phone), they determined that it was defective and sent another. I was not convinced, believing that the issue was screw length only, and that the replacement would be the same. So I asked them to attempt assembly of the replacement faucet before shipping; but they chose not to. When I opened the box, sure enough it was IDENTICAL! So now I have TWO faucets with the same issue.
This time I sent photographs to their plumber to prove my claim. The plumber emailed me after reviewing the photos and apologized for the trouble. He informed me that they would pay for the correct size screws when I found them since Pfister does not have any other sizes; go figure. After checking several stores and searching online with no luck, I finally decided to purchase the screws locally. They weren't an exact match, but they were the best I could find. I had to change some of the washers to make them work.
What's surprising is that the manufacturer said they have not come across this problem before. Hard to believe since the parts physically DO NOT FIT. You will see what I mean when you look at the photos that I included.
The only reason I'm keeping this faucet is because it's heavy duty and perfect for my wall mount laundry sink. My beef is with the installation problems, not to mention loss of use for several weeks! If not for the screw issue I would rate five stars, but one is all that's merited.
The body and valves of the original faucet are smaller but with the exact same size screws; hence the reason why it fit. The problem with the new one is that they increased these sizes (see photos). Guess the engineers were sleeping when they designed this one.
So, if you plan on purchasing this faucet, be prepared to purchase 1 1/4 inch screws to replace the 1" screws that come with it; and you will probably have to replace some of the washers too. If you get past that hurdle, you will have a great faucet that should last many years.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bald1 Pfister needs to fix this faucet.
It would be five stars if not for the provided washers and lack of quality instructions. Yes the screws mentioned could be a little longer but I managed to make it work. Bought my own washers to replace the garbage provided. Ended up with an excellent faucet after the minor fixes. I am buying another for my other home.

The faucet knobs are plastic. I don't think they will last very long.
