I bought this to patch about 4 square inches of stucco that had to be chipped out to install a doorbell button.
About 2 hours after I bought the Stucco Patch, I opened it to use it. Boy was I surprised! The patching material had hardened into a sandy cone of rubber. I could barely dig my putty knife into it.
I can't read the date code on the lid, but I suspect it's past pull date.
Blew the chances of finishing a quick job today. At least HD has excellent return policies!

I used this stucco in the past for small holes .... this time I used it to patch a 10 in by 10 in surface. Big mistake, stucco is completely dry but it remains pretty soft and gooey... it's so soft that you can easily take chunks out with your fingers

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bunny Love this stuff!
It was very easy to use. All I needed was gloves, a bucket of water, a giant sponge and a putty knife. After watching several YouTube videos, I finally got the courage to try this myself. I'm a first time homeowner that has never done a DIY project before, and this turned out perfect. I used it for hairline cracks and a few small holes. It dried within two hours (approx. 65 degrees F). I will use it again, and would recommend it to anyone who has no idea what they are doing. It's practically idiot proof.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by EL Doesn't harden, cracks, sags, and doesn't match surrounding stucco
This product is probably good for small cracks, but it is definitely not for deep holes. Even though it says it is good for up 1/4" thickness, I wouldn't go thicker than 1/8" since it won't harden if applied 1/4" thick. And it sags when applied 1/4" thick and cracks as it cures, which takes forever. Plus, the sand is much finer than the sand used in stucco, so the texture doesn't match. Isn't that what it is supposed to do? The powdered stucco patch that you mix with water is what I have used in the past and it works much better.

This product is good for small cracks 1/8 inch deep, would not use it for something deeper.

the patch doesn't fully harden. I waited one week, thought it was hard enough and when I applied water to the structure to clean off the dirt so I can paint, the product started peeling right off. It has the texture and feel of rubber and does not stay on the structure well. Avoid this product and use a product that needs to be mixed

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pedro Good, quick
Quick and easy to use. Value is not the same as mixing the stuff yourself, but worth saving the time and mess. I patched a ton of holes in my garage, both deep big holes and small tiny ones. All covered up and dried well. The size was perfect for my job and still have some left over for a future need.

Put in several holes and cracks a few years ago and it is still holding up well, especially considering it wasn't painted. Got a few hairline cracks on some of my repairs but that is to be expected from something as rigid/hard as this stuff is when it dries.
