Simply cut the screen to the desired width, insert the adjustable rods into the screen fabric pockets, adjust rods to the screen and opening width and fit into opening. 23 in. - 42 in. x 78 in. Quik Shade Screen is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use the screen to block reflective window glare and it works well. The length adjustment works... I use the screen to block reflective window glare and it works well. The length adjustment works by simply rolling it up on the rods. The width can be cut down with a complicated but very detailed set of instructions. My window is near the 78 inch max length and is exposed to very high winds and has never come loose even without adding any velcro along the sides. The rods are sturdy and not too difficult to install but I would not recommend using it where you expect to take it down often. Side strips of velcro would be needed only if it is intended to be an insect screen or possibly on any window that is opened. My installation is on a plate glass window not an opening one. The fiberglass construction should last years, mine has been up a few weeks.
