if you want a cheap screen that easily tears I'd recommend this product. Has tore on me multiple times when just trying to install it on my patio screen cage.

We used this screen with the Screen Tight system to rescreen our porch and it worked wonderfully. Purchased a longer/wider roll from Lowe's but ended up needing more, and this was a better value for the amount we needed. (It's got a different name at Lowe's, but same brand and description, and the product is the same - can't tell a difference at all, even now that it's installed on the porch.) We have only had it for a month so I can't attest to durability, but it does a good job keeping the bugs out and doesn't obstruct the view.

Excellent visibility, perfect for viewing the outside but I would not recommend for anyone with pets ( cats or dogs ) . It is very delicate. I had one dog go through it five minutes after entire porch was screened. He could not see the screen, that's how clear it is. If we didn't have pets I would buy this screening in a heart beat for the visibility. I think I might have to keep using pet screening but I sill miss the veiw!

Although I did not need the yardage that was offered, the product works well on our patio screen door.

I would highly recommend this screen. Can't even tell the windows have screens on them when you look through them, yet great for keeping out super small insects. Crazy. Quality is excellent, very easy to work with. We replaced brand new energy efficient screens that I hated because they blocked our beautiful country views. Those things made every day dark and dreary. These screens saved me. My husband is a patient man, but I don't know if he would have stayed nice through replacing them a third time!

It tears VERY easily. I first used it to replace the screen in our wood storm door. It had to be secured with staples since it's a wood door and there are no channels for screen spline. If the screen is not pulled tight in the frame not only does it look terrible, it defeats the purpose of the "better view" screen since the screen is only less visible when taut. But once the screen was pulled taut, it tore when the staples were put in. Well, I figured rookie mistake, I will not make it so tight next time but I don't feel like pulling 200 staples to re-do it right now. Today I decided to tackle re-screening some aluminum screens and so far I have re-done the same screen at least 6 six times today because every time I put the spline into the channel to tighten the screen, IT TEARS!!! Ridiculous. It does give a much more clear view than the old aluminum screens, but since I can't get it installed without holes it's pretty much pointless.

I bought another brand of screen first (actually, a Home Depot salesperson gave it to me since I had never replaced or purchased screening before) and it looked so bad - I could hardly see through it - that I went online to find something better. Saw this one, the Bettervue, and purchased it. What a difference! it's a product that's aptly named.
