I purchased the equivalent product from Lowes and ended up taking it down and replacing it with the screen from Home Depot. The screen that you sell is much higher quality.

I have several large south facing windows. Even though the house is new and the windows are Pella with low E glass, the sun still caused more heat gain than I would like. I removed the screen fabric that came standard and replaced with this fabric. Installation was easier than I expected. The effect was immediate, and noticible. Much less heat gain. Yes it does reduce the amount of light by a small amount, but I almost see it as a benefit. I equate this product to sunglasses for your windows.

I rplaced all the screens on our hearth room, which has all glass to the east. I even attached it to the non slider section of our sliding glass door( with the help of doulbe face tape. I placed a thermometer by the window with the screen and took a reading after 10 minutes, I then took the screen asway and in 10 minutes the reading went up about 11 degrees. This is a great energy saver and our hearth room is noticeable cooler.

Our Living Room had all Glass facing West. When the sun was shining we couldn't keep the room comfortable. We tried tint, expensive and didn't work. Blinds, expensive and didn't work. Solar screen worked. The room is cool. With an infrared thermometer, and an outside temp of 90, the glass temp was 140 with solar tint, and dropped to 90 with solar screen. GREAT

Great product. Material is easy to handle and provides relief from the summer heat in Texas as advertised. The process of making new solar screens or replacing existing screens is easy and it takes about 20-30 minutes per screen depending on the size. Each room I completed registered a noticeable reduction in temperature after the screens were installed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by my634me Great sun reduction.
It has really reduced the amount of heat from the sun coming into the room. It does darken the room considerable though. You can not see the grids of the window from the outside but I bought it for the sun reduction and it has been great.
