Answer:
hmmm.. I always wear rubber disposal gloves.so that I can grip them. also since the bulbs get instantly hot you have to work with the lights off,,,, if you fingers/thumb to big, try needle nose pliers very carefully...

Answer:
It is not recommended. 6V is probably not enough to drive this lamp properly. Should run off the rated 12V.

Answer:
232629 is the closest replacement in the Philips halogen portfolio. We also offer 415679 (1PK) and 417212 (2PK) at The Home Depot. The lumens are slightly lower, but from what I see, the rest of the specs match the OSI lamp they mention.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money Very expensive and they don't last. Unfortunately light bulb web sites are no better. August 2, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product I've used these bulbs in my low voltage lighting for years, good product! May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well, long lasting in landscape lighting.. These have worked great for us over the last 10 years. I would suggest to Philips they come up with an LED replacement for this unit, hence WHY the value is only considered "average". But, it definitely beats the cheap, low light output Solar LED lamps being sold, and no rechargeable batteries to replace every couple of years, which are every bit as expensive, not nearly as reliable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by exactly what I was looking for. I have landscape lighting that requires these bulbs, they last about eight months and then need to be replaced. I am reviewing this such that i can win the $1K. April 19, 2016
