Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The tip is too short for the Hampton Bay cieling fan My ceiling fan uses this size bulb. However, the tip on this bulb is too short so it does not make electrical contact with the socket. I have tried other brands and have the same problem. Some suggest putting a dab of solder on the tip. This is beyond my pay grade and should not be necessary. The problem is really with the 52" Hampton Bay fan. I'm trying to resolve this with customer support. June 18, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No life No service life. I have only use for one of these in my home and I change it at least 10 times more often than other types of bulbs. Contemplated purchasing another fan/light to get this bulb out of my life. July 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Waste of Money I've bought 6 of these in the past 6 months to replace the so called inefficient bulbs that still worked after 5 years. After burning thru the 6 I had purchased, I put the 3 old ones back in and they work like a champ. Don't waste your time or money on these energy saving bulbs. I am looking for an LED equivalent. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed This bulb burns out in a matter of months. I keep a spare with the invoice wrapped around it. I am an electrical contractor and know how to install it without getting finger prints on the glass. I am now looking into an LED equivalent. One of the companies that I order from indicates that they have an LED but you need to identify the base as either and E14 or E 27. You cannot tell by the LED photo which base it has. Philips does not indicate which base other than "mini candelabra." Looking for the number of the base. February 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage Bulbs If I could have given these bulbs a "0" I would have. I just installed three and got 2 weeks out of all of them. Generally if I got a couple of months out of them I was lucky. Horrible product. I'm looking elsewhere for a new brand and new bulbs. March 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lasted less than 2 months with light use Loved the idea of getting an equivalent 100w bulb with a 75w draw, sadly the design is flawed and didn't last two months of light usage. February 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A waste of money As about 50% of the reviewers mentioned - these burn out fast. You could burn a match longer! So disappointing that I spent a few bucks more for this garbage bulb. I need to find the receipt but I'm not sure Home Depot would take it back since I tossed the packaging. I don't think mine even last a week! Home depot only by us only has Philips brand for these type of bulbs. I think it's time to go a different store for lighting needs. I used the regular bulbs and they usually don't last too long so I thought this one would last longer per the package info but NOPE. November 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Longevity farless than what's advertised Advertised life is 1.5 years. I've never gotten more than a few months out of these bulbs. I started keeping track of when I installed them and how long they last and the last two lasted weeks - not even months. Don't waste your money on these bulbs. January 5, 2016
