Why does this buld cost so much more than it does at most retail stores? HD is usually great on pricing, so why?

I just googled this bulb technology and the first hydroponics shop listed this bulb for $52. C'mon homedepot! You can do better than these other retailers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk junk junk!!! Read all of what I wrote please... I wrote this based on quality of bulb and no... Junk junk junk!!! Read all of what I wrote please... I wrote this based on quality of bulb and not even on the specs and deceptive ways or oversize on someone's part??? The bulbs innard, are amazingly lose compared to USA made bulb, shake it and you will notice immediately, next the color of the glass isn't even crystal clear with a haze to to it and lastly which is most call for concern, the base it lose, not from shipment, from mfg. and their screws and then this I hope didn't actually go through some quality control or inspector prior to boxing it up. It's a potential fire hazard! So once agin which isn't even my real issue but once again, Another division of Philips being outsourced! Sad day for America. So I just bought a new bulb to replace my old one. They are both Philips 1000w agrolite xt. The old one states 150,000 lumens and made in USA, and 1800 micro moles, the new bulbs, which you are selling on your site which none of the specs stated on the site have changed but the bulbs have, they are identical looking in every way only the box and bulb both read now: "made in Mexico" And are only 130,000 lumens, 1621 micro moles Your website is not updated, it still states 149 lumens per watt. You are now selling outsourced garbage bulbs made in Mexico and all the specifications are completely wrong! Either deception or mistake on your part or is Philips being deceptive to you? It's an $85.00 bulb, so what's the deal?
