Answer:
you may also want to consider color temperature in your decision. Keep in mind, 2700K is the warm/yellow light, whereas 3000K-6500K yields a whiter light best used for areas requiring focus.
Friendly reminder that the 3-Way bulb cannot be used in a standard socket as its base structure is different than non-3-Way bulbs. 3-Way bulbs can only be used in 3-Way sockets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good buy this a good buy best deal for my money and the sale personal that helped me find this product was the best July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Light at a Great Price I purchased this four pack of 100 watt equivalent CFLs for a new garage door opener I installed. I recently learned that LED bulbs can cause interference with garage door openers and their wireless remotes. I've switched most of my house bulbs to LEDs and wanted to put LEDs in the opener but didn't want to waste money buying them just to possibly find out I can't use them. These bulbs are 100 watt equivalent but honestly I don't feel like they give out as much light as I remember 100 watt incandescent bulbs did. Since this four pack was half the price of one LED, I'm not going to complain. On a side note, I'm surprised there isn't a special LED bulb for garage door openers on the market yet. May 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Light Bulbs I picked the Philips brand bulbs because I've never been disappointed with any of their products. These bulbs are mostly used in the garage. In the cold winter they put out a good amount of light right away and reach full brightness within a minute or so. They're also completely quiet. I bought them to replace CFLs that produced an annoying 60 cycle hum. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great lightfbulb! Hope it lasts forever! Best quality and very affordable. Also my store always has helpful and knowledgeable people. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great upgrade bulb needed a new bulb for our overhead fan with an enclosed light. My wife and I are getting older and need more light. This one did the trick, it is safe for enclosed fixtures and is quite brighter than the old 60 watt bulb. Comes in a 4pack, and I'm upgrading the kitchen overhead fan today. December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smaller size but brighter This CFL bulb has smaller size than the standard 100W CFL, but it produces equal brightness if not slightly brighter. Like it so far as it does not protrude down as much as the previous bulb it replaced. November 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Light bulb burnt out in about a week I installed this light bulb in my garage door opener and it burnt out after about a week. September 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by purchase lights the lights are bright and shorter than others so they fit ceiling fans extremely well without touch the light bowl May 6, 2015
