12.5-Watt (60W) A19 Soft White (2700K) Dimmable LED Light Bulb (4-Pack) (E)* is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These lamps are brilliant. After years of using CFLs, I have begun updating my lighting to LED. At first I tried a couple of other brand bulbs and was not impressed by the lack of warmth in color. Daylight or florescent can be nice in the right settings (breakfast room, kitchen, etc.), but in my opinion, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms fare better with more yellow in the spectrum. At first I was a little apprehensive about the unusual looks of the Philips lamps- the yellow stripes that are visible when the lamp is off are a bit odd- but after seeing how much better they perform than anything I have had thus far, I have gotten past this small setback in aesthetics. In fact, I have become accustomed to them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a long-lasting efficient lamp that emits within the same spectrum as traditional incandescent bulbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bulbs overall These bulbs are excellent! I was nervous at first about the style and the odd yellow panels they have at the end of the bulb, but I was totally wrong to be. When you turn on the light, the yellow panels just light up and aren't noticably yellow. They light up instantly - AND - they don't "warm up" like CFLs. They are instant on AND full brightness. They are also dimmable, which is excellent, because a lot of CFLs aren't. They emit a very pleasant warm white light, which is what you get from a typical bulb that is not energy efficient. They consume very little power - I think they are on par with, or use a little less electricity than a CFL. Overall, a superb product - just a little expensive. However, they will last a VERY long time - for most people, these bulbs will last around 20 years. So you pay upfront, but the bulbs will just keep going... and going...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement for warm white incandescent I replaced 8 incandescent bulbs with these LEDs for lamps that have touch dimmers and we couldn't be more pleased (unless the the price was a little cheaper). The brightness and the color is identical to 60w warm white incandescent bulbs. Unlike dimmable CFLs, these LEDs dim down all the way to a slight glow. There is also no "hum" when using the dimmers. Philips got these exactly right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent inside a lampshade Color quality is great, light dispersal is good, but the fin shadows are noticeable. The garish yellow color is distracting if bulbs are visible when off. 4 of these illuminate my kitchen from within a clouded white glass fixture, and have been excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for money - nice light Taking into account the projected lifetime of the lamp and the 6 year warranty, the price is pretty good for an 805 Lumen LED light. Despite its yellow appearance in the off state, the lamp produces a beautiful soft light when switched on. Unlike the typical CFL it switches on near instantly (there is a fraction of a second delay). It dims well, but it does not go down to zero brightness like regular incandescent bulbs (which get even less efficient when dimmed). The color temperature appears to be preserved when dimmed. I will get more of these lights or possibly the "Philips 10-Watt (60W) Award Winning LED Bulb A19 soft White light bulb, winner of the L Prize" with a record breaking 94 Lumen/Watt @ 940 Lumens. Unfortunately, that lamp is twice the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died to quickly I'm not sure when I bought a set of three, but it has to be within the past two years. One of the three burned out already. I was expecting it to last much, much longer. I don't remember what I paid, but I know it seemed high. I thought buying the Phillips name would mean something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than CFL or Incandescent Very pleased with these bulbs so far. Been using them for about a month. Comes to full brightness almost instantly after turn on. Color temperature is very pleasing and on par with incandescent bulbs. $25/bulb is still a little high, but not bad considering the expected lifetime. I will be buying more of these as my CFLs burn out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lighting Nothing negative about this bulb, which is indistinguishable from incandescent. It's light appears warmer than the newer 11 watt replacement.
