DOES THE PACKAGE SAY 2700K OR 3000K?

This question is from 12 in. T5 8-Watt Soft White (2700K) Linear Fluorescent Light Bulb

Soft white (aka "warm white") can come in two different color temperatures. HomeDepot.com says these are 2700K, but the soft white package in this brand said 3000K in the store... does anyone have a package they bought online to verify the true color temperature? I'm pretty sure online has it wrong, but I wanted to make sure. I'd really like to find a bulb in the more yellow 2700K temperature, and I wanted to know if the package actually says 2700K or of if the web listing is in error. I just bought a different brand that was said to be 2700K, but the web listing was in error as the temperature was probably about 3200K.

Package says it has the 'appearance' of 2700K, but in reality it is 3000K. I found the light very pinkish, not good.

CRI means 'Color Rendering Index', which is not the same as 'Color Temperature (Kelvin rating)'.
CRI means - does the color of objects around you look natural at the bulbs listed Kelvin rating?
The question asked did not address what Kelvin rating (color temperature) the bulb was at. This tube light comes in various color temperatures such as 2700K (Warm White), 3000 (Soft White), 4000K (Cool White) Read More

The question asked did not address what Kelvin rating (color temperature) the bulb was at. This tube light comes in various color temperatures such as 2700K (Warm White), 3000 (Soft White), 4000K (Cool White) etc.
Theoretically, at 2700K, CRI is 100, or perfect color rendering.
However, this particular bulb is 3000K, but specs listed on it state its 'Appearance' is 2700K.
I bought 2 of them. The color is neither 2700K or 3000K. 2700K is a warm incandescent bulb type of light, while 3000K is more like halogen whiter light, but not bluish like Cool White Neon light.
This bulb is an awful pinkish dim light. So in my opinion, CRI is about 50. This is not a scientific rating. Read Less

Answer:
Home Depot currently has only two 12 inch neon options: Warm White and Cool White. Both are 8 watts. I have checked Home Depot online as well.
Amazon has a few more, but none are what you are seeking.
Your best bet would be to check a specialty lighting store online and request this. Often, there is not enough demand in box stores to store each type of bulb.

Answer:
That lamp does not come in the Daylight color. We only have the soft white and cool white. The lamp should not turn pink. It’s a warmer color temperature so it has more red color, which may seem a bit pinker

The small 12 inch tube lights only come in Warm White (2700K), Soft White (3000K), and Cool White (4000K and up - more bluish).
You have to check each color option to match against the other under counter lights.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by light bulb This was exactly what was needed for a replacement bulb for our under cabinet light fixture. It was easy to install. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light bulb As soon as the bulb was plugged in and the switch was turned on, an illumination cast a warm glow over the kitchen sink reveling dirty dishes. The warm glow turned into cold, white reality. Guess it did its job. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed. Needed a new light bulb for the light over my sink. This was easy to install and gives good light. Bought a second one to have on hand. October 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Color Temp Actually 3000K Color Temp is Actually 3000K. Packaging states 3000K. Noticeably different from 2700K in Home Depot's listing. These are high quality lamps. Just a different color than the listing states. Generally: "Warm" white is about 2700K. "Soft" white is about 3000 to 3200K "Bright" (the really blue look) is generally 5600K to 6000K. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wrong info Everything was fine with this purchase, including the ease of ordering online & picking up in store, but the info about it was incorrect. The fluorescent bulb I wanted was 2700K, which is what it was described as online & in store, but the actual bulb was 3000K. There has been no explanation for this discrepancy, nor can I find a 2700K bulb at Home Depot. Disappointing. May 12, 2015
