Answer:
Not sure of the actual angle, but it is very narrow. Do not buy if you are looking for a floodlight.

Answer:
It is a flood bulb. While I didn't see it on this particular LED PAR38, most in the industry have around 47 degrees of aperture that it emits.
Compare that to the spot, which is usually around 18 degrees.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent I have a self service car wash. I have had a couple of incandescent lights for the vacuum area that were great at running the meter on high! I switched one side to the 100w LED and it was effective as far as light, but meh for coverage. I then put one of these bad boys on the other side when it burned out. There was a guy vacuuming his car in the dark when I was on the ladder screwing it in. When I looked back over my shoulder to see how it was aimed, I thought a helicopter was shining the light on the poor guy! Very good light, nice coverage. I haven't noticed a huge savings, but I still need to switch over some mogul base HPS in the bays. Very happy! October 28, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a flood light! The light itself is a nice, bright LED light with a good color. The only issue is that they list this as a floodlight. It is NOT a floodlight. It delivers a spot of bright white light in just one are. Not sufficient when trying to cover a large area. February 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not for my security lighting needs The light was of good quality but I found that it is not the best for outdoor security use. The beam it produces is very much a spot light. 90 watt LED Cree bulbs did a much better job of lighting my areas with their true flood wide angle and what seemed like a brighter light. Having said this I would say that it is great for uses where you need a more truncated beam of light. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Used in artists studio Bought these LED lamps for my studio. It is important for me that artificial lighting does not add a significant bias to the colour and tone of my paintings. All other lighting I had used prior to these did precisely that - so I would only show the work to visitors in daylight hours. Since replacing all my lighting with these lamps I can confidently show the paintings at any time of day. I would specifically recommend these to galleries, collectors and artists or anyone who requires a true daylight balanced light. May 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great PAR38 Great bulb, color, and performance. The metal shell and weight gives it a high quality feel. I only wish the package would better clarify if Philips approves of both indoor and outdoor use. It doesn't mention it anywhere. The only relevant warning seems to be: "Do not use where directly exposed to water." This same warning is found on Philips bulbs marked for outdoor use as well. I have had great experience in using them as outdoor flood lamps. I've seen complains that this bulb is more of a "spot" light than a "flood" light. This is because it is a PAR #parabolic aluminized reflector# class bulb which is designed to provide a more focused beam. If you want a wider beam, you should look at BR #bulged reflector# class bulbs. November 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mainly spot lighting Purchased one with the intent to change the entire house to them except noticed that it provides more of a spot flood light rather than a wider spread. Great if you need to shine tons of light on small sections but not so great if you need it to cover a large area. July 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find 120 LED daylight Spend alot of time looking for good bright white LED light for 120W cans and this light was the final winner. Bright white light and easy to install. Bought on sale so price, although still on high side still worth buying We have been converting house lights slowly over to LED and I am pleased with look and amount of clean bright light bulb gives off. Will buy more as needs arise January 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good Lots of light using very little power. I'll buy again when on special. May 27, 2014
