Answer:
Fixtures that support the use of this type of bull typically have spring loaded, compression, or fitted connectors. After the bulb has cooled, gently take hold of the bulb with your fingers and the slightly shift it toward the most inconspicuous end of the bulb and tilt the most conspicuous end away from the fixture.

Answer:
Ensure your light switch is in the off position. Grasp the light bulb as close to one end as possible and retract it from that end. After removing one end, repeat this process on the other end. Do not use pliers or any other metal instrument to remove this bulb. Such a maneuver will break the glass bulb.

Answer:
For the orientation, per spec sheet - Horizontal in luminaire, horizontal and vertical in free air (no luminaire)
For the maximum operating temperature the spec sheet shows a max pinch temperature of 350 °C.
The pinch is the pressed glass section at the sides of the tube.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product with added value through help from personnel. Halogen bulb needed special handling as explained to me by employee. Had to be installed without fingers touching the glass to avoid body oils impact on heat generated by light. Thus, used tissue to hold bulb when installing. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spot on. We did not utilize the dimming feature of this product, however, the type of lighting and the location of the light fixture helped to create the mood we were trying to accomplish in a solemn and intimate setting. Replacement of the bulb was quite easy. You should take note of instructions, if any, printed on or in the light fixture before replacing this type of bulb. January 13, 2015
