Fair enough Lumens are not measured on colored bulbs then. I also have two other questions, I can't believe someone actually took the time to answer my question or I would have asked them all at once. In the file specifications for this bulb it says "This transparent yellow bulb features an aluminum base and uses 75 watts of energy." Is this a missprint? The picture says the bulb uses 25W. Next question, is this bulb suitable for use as a front porch "bug light" ?
Asked by: KingJames
Hi KingJames, You are correct, the copy is wrong and should state 25 watts not 75 watts. Mike,

How many lumens is this bulb?

I was thinking about buying this as a bug light for my front porch but it says it outputs ZERO lumens? I assume this is a misprint? If it really outputs 0 lumens wouldn't that mean that is broken?
