These worked great (and looked great) for the 4-5 months they worked and then two of the ones I purchased at the same time (I'm guessing that came from the same lot) burned out within a week of each other. Home Depot doesn't replace after 90 days (the helpful lady told me that folks brought these back all the time but that's just how it worked) and customers should contact the manufacturer about product issues. Obviously that's not worth the time and effort for a lightbulb - buy a box of CFLs or purchase a different vendor. I don't expect lightbulbs to last forever, but I do expect relatively expensive (compared to CFLs) LEDs to make it to at least a 20th of their estimated lifespan.

This bulb stays so cool to the touch. The previous bulb would heat the stained glass shade almost to "hot to handle" It offers the same brightness as the previous bulb.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Matt Energy-efficient stylish chandelier bulb
I needed energy-efficient bulbs for my new chandelier.
I also wanted the bulb not to be too bright because I was
supposed to look at the chandelier without a shade.
This one did the job. It only consumes around 4W per bulb
and looks bright enough to lighten the dining table
without hurting eyes.
This is good for a decorative lighting over a dining table
but not so bright to lighten an entire dining room.
If you prefer brighter atmosphere, I suggest you have
floor lamps or recessed lights as well as the chandelier bulbs.
