Customer Reviews

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad, except for the lead and mercury! I use these in sconces. I had no trouble to install them, and I found that the lifetime of these bulbs was at least 4 years (used in a bathroom with 4 people in the house). I don't like that Home Depot in Montreal doesn't clearly provide a service to recycle these lead + mercury bulbs. I'm trying to find a LED alternative for this reason. January 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible-- just being honest This is a good contender for one of the worst light bulbs ever to try to install. I've slaved away a couple hours trying to install it before getting out a file and filing away the tabs (bumped plastic protrusions on either side of the middle block and spray on a PTFE lubricant to get it to slide into the light fixture. Oh, and by the way I saw the Philips "guarantee" that they will last 3 hours per day for min. of 2 years 7 days a week. Well I must just be having bad luck then because for the last 4.5 years I've been changing the 2 bulbs a min. of 1x per year-- I estimate they barely get 1.5 hours a day (being generous).
