Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good I bought two of these from the local Home Depot this afternoon and installed them in an outdoor (covered) fixture (both worked). It lights the area pretty well. Unlike a GE LED I bought earlier which threw almost all its light straight out the top, the glass/mirror structure on the inside of this Philips bulb shines light fairly evenly all the way around and above the bulb. My fixture has 3 candle posts inside, so I am using 2 of these and the GE bulb which seem sufficient to me. I think the rating of 25 Watt equivalent is probably about right. The light it gives seems pretty white to me (not yellow or blue). Now all that remains to be seen is if it can come close to its predicted life of 20,000 hours. Since it is on a dawn to dusk sensor, assuming maybe 10 hours a day, they should last over 5 years. May 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUT OF STOCK I want to purchase 100 more of these but they are out of stock (acording to this site) but the store shows several in THEIR computer. I don't want to waste gas, so I thought I would order online. They are out there as well. If a product sells, shouldn't the merchant stock them? I am obviously pleased with this product!
