Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific bulb I've replaced 2 12 volt florescent bulbs and the power supply in the light fixture of my travel trailer with 4 of these bulbs by removing the "guts" and soldering leads with heat shrink to the terminals of these bulbs and affixing them with RTV silicone to the inside of the fixture. This seems about twice as bright as the no longer working florescents with only about 14 watts (roughly 1 amp) current draw. For future replacements I would only use 2 or 3 of these bulbs. I also inadvertently discovered that the internal power supply is so good that you can wire them without regard to polarity and they work either way. December 12, 2015
