Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flood lamp These bulbs are very bright and easy to replace. Just be sure to keep your oily fingers off them or they burn out fast.

It has been a month since I installed them, these light bulbs are working fine and are bright enough for my need; I had installed 100 watts bulbs previously that were burned out after only 2 weeks. Just make sure to not handle these light bulbs with your bare hands (use a pair of gloves or towels/napkins) when you are installing it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fragile bulb The bulb was packaged so tightly that I broke off a pin while opening the package. I was able to use 1 out of the three bulbs I bought. I will buy again, because they are the only bulbs available for this fixture. Lookin forward to LED bulbs for this fixture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely fragile, poor quality control I've been through two of these bulbs. Quality is just not there, especially for the price. The first one broke at the joint between the bulb and the base as I was inserting it into the plug in my range hood over the stove. The pins weren't parallel so it was a tad difficult to insert and it just snapped. The second bulb had the exact same issue with pins not being parallel; they were probably 15° off of being parallel, pointing away from each other. When I went to try and insert this one, one of the pins just snapped off and sent a shard of glass off somewhere in my kitchen. I would definitely avoid these bulbs. Currently an LED bulb of this type can be had from Home Depot for about twice the price of the halogen version. I decided I didn't need to spend the money to go with LED under my range hood. Turns out I should have gone that way after having to buy 2 of these and still having no working light under there.
