Customer Questions & Answers

Does this 4 foot led tube require wiring modification? Or is it drop in?

Philips 20-Watt 4 ft. T8 Cool White (4000) Linear LED Light Bulb Model # 429761 Internet # 204371910

Yes, remove the ballast and find the end on the bulb marked with 'L' & 'N',(L is your Hot '+' and N or C is the common '-' just in case), these pins need to match the sockets hot and common wiring, which are now to be directly wired to your AC 120v. The other end, you can remove all the wires as it now will be just to hold the bulb in place (FREE FLOAT). If you get other type of LED Linear bulbs, check as not all wire (retrofit) this way.
