46 in. T5 28-Watt Neutral (3500K) Fluorescent ALTO Light Bulb is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neutral is too bright for the kitchen Great lighting I give it a 5 star but the Neutral and cool white are way too bright. Neutral is for an office as stated by the display sign at HD. I purchased two new ceiling light fixtures for my kitchen from HD in Middletown, DE. 19709. HD only stocks the 28 watt T5 in neutral and cool white. They don't stock the soft/warm white that is needed for the kitchen. Philips 28-Watt T5/830. You can order them on line

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Bright, Light, Small and Hides Easily. Short Life. Very Slim, Thin Bulbs, I Mounted In The Rafters Of An Old Farm Out Building. Lights The Building While (Hiding Behind The The Rafters). Looks Very Warm, And Interesting. To My Frustration, I Noticed Bulb Problems Within Hours Of Use, The Bulbs Lasted Less Than A year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted a only month and very expensive I bought two of these for a two tube kitchen fixture. I changed both tubes about a month ago and now at least one has gone bad. The fixture is only on maybe two hrs max per day. So only got 60hrs of life out of these very expensive tubes. I wish I had saved my reciept.
