Customer Reviews

50W Equivalent Bright White (3,000K) PAR20 Dimmable LED Floodlight Bulb is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product These lights work great. They give off a lot of very bright light and fit well in small track heads. The color quality is very pure -- less yellowish then other bulbs because they are 3000K. The are significantly less expensive than other brands, which are not near the quality of this bulb. I am very pleased with this purchase and am in the process of transitioning from halogen bulbs to these LED lights elsewhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purchased to replace an PAR 20 Halogen I purchased this to replace a PAR 20, 50 watt halogen that was installed in the down-light socket of my kitchen chandelier which hangs directly over and 3 feet above, the table in the breakfast nook. I read the newspaper there while having morning coffee and use only the spot to avoid lighting up the rest of the kitchen unnecessarily. I have a dimmer installed to tone down both the spot and the remaining 6 candelabra bulbs when they are switched on, so the dimmable function was a must. While the LED runs drastically cooler and is nicely dimmable as was the halogen, I notice very distinct hot spots of light projected on the surface of the table due to the somewhat narrow beam spread of the individual LED's. This was not a characteristic of the halogen and I found it irritating enough that I reinstalled the halogen. The LED now resides over my hobby workbench where at a greater distance from the work surface, the narrow beam spread is not as noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great LED Bulb About a month ago, I replaced one of my kitchen halogen bulbs with this LED bulb. Although I changed the color temp from 2700K to 3000K it was noticeable but in a good way. Now the lighting in my kitchen seems more crisp and clean (where this one bulb was changed) - whereas before the color looked washed out. I would highly recommend this bulb as a replacement for existing lighting or comparable bulbs. The major drawback is the cost - it is still relatively high at 4X the cost, however I don't plan on ever replacing these bulbs in my lifetime!
