CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bulb Well worth the money. Have a light fixture in my kitchen that uses four of this style bulb. I had installed two of these around 2 years ago and finally got around to replacing the last two. I had tried the CFL type bulb but wasn't impressed. The old halogen bulbs would cook you from the heat that they gave off. It is about a foot and a half over my head. These bulbs give off no noticeable heat while providing plenty of light. They are a little pricy but I should easily recoup the money based on the listed "estimated energy cost" of $0.72 per year compared to $6.84 of the halogen bulb. Expected bulb life should help as well because I was replacing one of the halogen bulbs every few months. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superior to CFL bulbs of the past, instant on. Phillips quality Far brighter than I had expected in a 4-6 watt LED package. I have several GU10 base multi lamp lights that were installed in our home by previous owner. Replacing standard 50W Halogen bulbs was becoming a very expensive ordeal so I opted to move to LED and CFL technology. Had a few off brand (AKA Wallyworld / Lighting of America) CFLs and LED lamps I had experimented with the year before and they started to flicker/ fail within 6-12 months. I finally put my money down on a quality set of Phillips LED bulbs and although they are about 7-10 more per bulb over the competition they are hands down the best lights out there. If I ever move I am taking these with me! LOL Length of ownership: 1 - 2 years QTY: 10-15 Key benefits/ observations: * Zero failures/ early end-of-life * They come on instantly * Dimmable * Superior spot replacement: Extremely bright/ cool to the touch. * Saves on A/C bill over the traditional halogen bulbs June 22, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not 3000K I was looking for a yellowish looking LED bulb like the Cree 2700K standard based bulbs. These Philips are listed as 3000K IE: yellowish on the kelvin scale but these are definitely not 3000K, they're more of a 4800K - 5000K. They didn't have any yellow to them but were a crisp white. If I wanted white these would've been perfect but I wanted a 3000K bulb and these are NOT 3000K. If you're looking for a bright crisp white bulb these are perfect! February 17, 2015
