Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good so far This is still early to review, considering the life of this bulb is estimated at about 25,000 hours. One of the main reasons I purchased these bulbs was to replace the old halogen based bulbs as they always seemed so dim in the track lights I have. These are significantly brighter. They also support dimming, which is nice. They do, however, have less spread than my old bulbs, resulting in more shadows. I can deal with this given the brightness however. I may be able to find something to attach if I really need to. June 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good bulbs These are a decent set of bulbs. They tend to be much more reliable and consistent than other brands. There seems to be an out of the box failure rate of about 10-20% ie. a brand new bulb will either flicker or hum, but HD will replace the at the store. The sic pack comes packaged in boxes now which are much easier to access. I have 100's of MR16's, PAR20,s and PAR16's in the house, and I swear Phillips hired some maniacal masochistic packaging engineer to figure out how to package them before this. It was more effort to open and more secure than a $800 iphone. So you'd have to buy the bulbs online, where they are cheaper in multi packs, have them delivered, and presuming you didn't want to spend 6 times as long opening the bulbs as you did installing them, take them to an HD store and drop them off overnight and nicely ask them to remove the bulbs from all the packaging and pick them up the next day surgically extracted from the torturous cardboard and plastic cases, take them home and install them. The new packaging is way easier. It was ironic that an LED bulb, which is intended to protect the environment, was packaged in the most environmentally unfit and cumbersome way possible. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by These products were as I expected. One bulb of the six did not work. Waiting for replacement bulb. January 28, 2014
