50W Equivalent Bright White MR16 GU10 Base Dimmable LED Floodlight Bulbs (2-Pack) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough duty in a GE Monogram vent hood...Hope they last! Bought 3 LEDs for tough duty inside GE Monogram range hood--going to get lots of heat, vibration & long hours "on." - Installed easily. - Light color very good shining down on stainless gas rangetop with white wall tile behind. - Dims perfectly - White plastic ring visible on face isn't very attractive (unlike full glass lens on halogens). But who's looking up into your vent hood anyway? - Not expecting 22.8 years, but they'd better last more than a couple years for the price. - LOVE the energy efficiency vs. halogen - LOVE the low heat-output vs. halogen (not burning my finger anymore fishing for the "off" button on the hood) If they last a long time...I will love these lights!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bulb, but dimensions seem wrong Great bulb, but the descriptions seem to be off. Currently this is listed as 3.14" deep and the par16 equivalent (Model # 423509) is listed as 2.03" deep. I've confirmed with Philips that a par16 is deeper than an MR16 and that the bulb dimensions are reversed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the lighting in the kitchen now! Bought these to replace 6 halogen 50W bulbs that were there before in my kitchen. These LED"s are great! The other lights got so hot you couldn't even touch them. These stay much cooler! Energy consumption now is only 36 watts total compared to 300 watts before and I believe the light output is better that before! Buying them as a 2 pack online instead of singles at the store saved me money too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I may never have to change a GU10 bulb again! I purchased a set of 4 of these Philips LED bulbs after having to replace burned out Reveal filament type GU10 base bulbs a few times. The GU10 base in my bathroom ceiling fixture is no fun at all. The bulb's base pins have to be lined up with the socket absolutely by luck and feel since with my particular light fixture there is a glass cover that makes seeing the base impossible with a bulb in place. When my recent standard filament type bulb burned out I decided to invest extra in a whole set of 4 LED bulbs that should last a couple decades. I hoped that these LED bulbs would give an amount of light and hue that I was accustomed to. They are a little different, but they are absolutely fine. I'm glad that I stretched on out and made this purchase. These bulbs may last me the rest of my life. THAT's a relief!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST Deal of the Day purchase ever! So far so good. I literally just got these today and had to do my comparison before and after pictures. Obviously, it's the day of, I cannot tell you the durability/endurance of these bulbs, but we'll see. I CAN tell you what others have mentioned, I'm using mine in an overhead stove hood. It has three light settings, low, off, and High. I bought these because i didn't like using the halogens on high, as they produced TONS of heat, and in the beginning, you could smell them cooking off the chemicals in the plastic bulb fixture inside the hood. The smell is gone, but plastic is constantly getting more brittle if you expose it to heat. This will help that issue in that they DO get warm, but not burning hot like the regular GU10s. ALSO, these will last longer that me living in this house, so they should make up their cost in lifetime. I already replaced one of the original Halogens after 1 year, so i know the second was soon to go. Back to what I was saying, as others have indicated, on the LOW light setting, these DO show a sort of flicker associated with anything that is NOT incandescent or halogen. It's not too troublesome or irritating, but i can tell you, I'll probably never use the low setting anymore since high is nice and clear, uses only 6 watts, and does not get that warm. Now, addressing any color concerns, these are a WHITE light! They are still pleasant to the eye however in the high power setting in my hood, so the brightness and whiteness does not bug me very much. I hope you can see the difference in my images uploaded. The halogen original is on the left, and the LED is on the right with the same white paper and crayon colors on both sheets. I'll update this review if possible in the future if something negative comes out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not ready for dimmable LED bulbs I guess These caused buzzing with my fader, whereas my regular bulbs did not. I was using a 600W fader so you would think it could handle it. I put 4 of these on one track and 4 on the other. They were way too bright so you really had to fade them, then they buzzed loudly. I switched out my light fixtures to three bulbs each to reduce the wattage and brightness. It buzzed less but still too bright. I wouldn't recommend these yet until the technology gets a little better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bulbs. Brand name matters in LED world I tried another cheaper unheard of brand of LED bulbs from Home Depot for my track lighting and they were terrible with flickering and fast failure within hours. These Philips bulbs are very good so far after 3 weeks with no problems whatsoever. The dimming performance is superb and is nearly as good as the halogens I replaced. I am happy with this bulbs - got them on sale finally. They are very expensive full price so at ~$12 a piece on sale these were steal.
