Hi MaximelJ, this bulb will work with any fixture that has a medium base, a wattage maximum of at least 60 watts and will fit an A19 shape. It is good for portable fixtures, but can be used in other fixtures as well.

I'm trying to start seedlings in my home. I put my bulb into a regular table lamp and the bulb just burnt out within a few hours. Not sure at all why this would happen. Could it be the lamp? I'm not very light bulb savvy and really need help with this one!

you may have been using a lamp that did not allow for the wattage. Check out the details of the lamp and check with the store. Mine have been used for 3-4 months 24 hours a day

Answer:
I would think during daylight hours it would help. Not longer since it has been fruiting and has lemons. Have you moved the location (i.e., indoor to outdoor). If yes, check the internet for care of this plant.

Answer:
Howdy Jordan,
Growing citrus trees indoors is sometimes a tricky thing to do because of things like adequate light. I'm guessing your growing this tree indoors just for the winter months.
If this is the case, then your main concern would be to make sure you have a reflective surface so the light is not wasted. Walls and floors help.
Happy Growing,
Coach Dave

Answer:
For best results, NOT AN INCANDESCENT grow light. Incandescent lamps inherently have a ton of red, which is great for some plants but peppers are different. Pepper plants love grow lights with both red and blue, but proportionately more blue. Grow fluorescents or quality LED grow lamps are best.

My 86 year old mother has a wall of indoor plants year long. Only problem is that they do not last. She uses 4 bulbs at a time on strip lighting and @ about 2 bulbs a month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always keep these in stock! As long as these plant light bulbs are kept in stock, my plants will benefit from it, and I have a lot of plants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It lasted 7 days... I bought this bulb in stores on a Saturday. Its now the following Sunday morning. I turned it on and it went out AND it broke with glass everywhere. I dont normally give bad reviews but I was really disappointed it went out so soon. It was nice and bright though. I used it for 4 hours a day for my Bonsai tree.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the extra money It is a good light but I did not notice any difference from other light bulbs. It did burn out unless than a month. I have it on a timer and it comes on and off per dawn and dusk. I now use a regular light bulb .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on African Violets Light has assisted me in keeping my African Violets vibrant and healthy for almost three years. I would highly recommend these for anyone trying to grow indoor plants without a sunny window to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grow Lights I am an avid indoor gardener but live in a townhouse with limited natural light. These grow lights give me wonderful results and last longer than others I have purchased at greater cost.
Date published: 2016-06-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable results Cons: 1000 life hours is only about three months when you use these 12 hours a day, so I end up replacing them several times a year. Pros: The lime tree I'm wintering indoors is happy enough to have a new growth and is a very healthy green. I keep toying with the idea of going to daylight CFLs or LEDs to save some money - a four-pack of 60-watt CFLs is cheaper than two of these, are cheaper to run, and each bulb lasts 2-3 years at 12 hours/day. But it's hard to convince myself to change what works, so I keep coming back to these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for houseplants I put these bulbs in my office lamps because my office gets very little natural sun\light. I put the lamps on a timer and it works great. The plants grow toward the bulbs so I turn them occasionally.
