Is this CFL bulb compatible with enclosed fixtures? It should say on the packaging if you shouldn't use it in enclosed fixtures or if it is ok. Thanks!

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Long-lasting bug light Only issue with this bulb is that it can't be used with a photocell. Had to disable the photocell on my outdoor fixture so that I could use this bulb - couldn't find a long-lasting bug light bulb that is compatible with a photocell. The product itself is fine and is exactly what it's supposed to be - a long-lasting bug light. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works like a champ The lights are great. However, this was my first time using Home Deot on-line and it took almost a month to get the bulbs. I commented on how long it took and the sales clerk said it usually only takes a few days, so I'll probably give it another try. November 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Bulb So Far! So far, so good. The price for this item is about the best you'll ever find, and the bulbs work great. I've only been using them a few weeks, so I can't say how long the life may be, but they look nice, and don't appear to attract bugs like standard lights do. HD could have packaged better, as there was room left in the box and some of the bulbs where allowed to move within the box. Luckily none where broke or damaged(but they could have been). Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does Not Perform as Well as an Incandescent Bulb This bulb takes several minutes to achieve the brightness that one would expect it to have. If you expect "old-time" performance, seek out a regular bulb. This one is sort of like waiting for an old TV to warm up. October 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good outdoor landscape CFL bulb I am using the bulb in outdoor line voltage landscape pagoda lights instead of white bulbs; does not attract mosquitos! Bright light. September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BRIGHT THI BULB TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO REACH FULL BRIGHTNESS BUT WHEN IT DOES IT IS REALLY BRIGHT. NOT AS HEAVY AS I SUSPECTED DUE TO SURROUNED BY PLASTIC. SO FAR HAVENT NOTICED ANY BUGS ON PORCH. September 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly good One of the yellow bug lights didn't work. All the rest 2, did August 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Can't use this bug light with photocells Only problem with this bulb is that this outdoor bulb can't be used with photocells, so I can't use it where it's needed. May 19, 2015
