IF your chandelier is rated for 40 watt bulbs, these would work.
The lamp will be labeled as to what the maximum wattage bulb can be used. If it is labeled for 40 watt or higher, these bulbs will work.
If it is labeled for 25 watt max, do not use these bulbs.
