60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb (2-Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look/color and avoids the CFL problem I am switching out most of my CFL's that were outside or in my basement because they kept burning out after 6 - 8 months. The CFL's didn't handle moisture/cold very well. Looking forward to longer lasting bulbs with this latest generation LED from Philips. They look great (light color, estetiue), dim extremely well and work instantly in the cold. They run a tad warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great product I love these lamps. I now have 4 of them and they're a great alternative to CFLs. The absence of mercury is great for indoor environmental health (especially if you have kids) and good on the environment. Aesthetically, I think they are more pleasing to the eye, compared to other LEDs out there. I would like to see if these are LM-79 and LM-80 tested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The future of light bulbs Great product, bought it on Special Buy of the Day since it was a great deal but should have ordered more. Still a little pricy compared to CFL but they last longer and were reasonable on sale. Similar is size to a regular incandescent though noticeably heavier (shouldn't be a problem except maybe in a very fragile fixture). The color is great its a warm yellow light that isn't very different from the 60 watt incandescent bulbs they are replacing. Love the fact that after leaving them on for 10 minutes I can still grab them and take them out (try doing that with an incandescent). My only complaint would be they are packaged in a clamshell which is difficult and semi-dangerous to open but I haven't found any complaints with the product itself. Overall they feel like a solid product and expect many great years of savings now that I have switched. Can't wait to replace the rest of my lightbulbs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Philips won the L-Prize for a reason I have tested several manufacturer's LED bulbs. All of them seem to perform very well and look good, but the Philips simply have a more natural color and they dim perfectly on a cheap standard dimmer. All of the others have issues with cut off at low dimming levels or they strobe or something like that. The Philips cannot be differentiated from incandescent except that the dimmed color is not as orange. The two for one deal was a great way to buy a number of bulbs, and these have the added benefit of looking nice when the bulb is off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great light quality, but poor value; dead in 21 months Installed in basement application, open fixture. Pleasant bright white light, and instant on at full intensity. However, lasted 21 months at usage of less than an hour per day on average. Expensive lamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pure incandescent warm light. Save on your electricity bills. This bulb produces beautiful incandescent type light. You cannot make out the difference between this and the incandescent light. This bulb is not like the ecosmart ones which produce some kind of hybrid light - The ecosmart ones produce light - much like a cross between a incandescent and a CFL. But this Philips one DOES NOT. It produces light that is exactly as an incandescent. For the two piece price of $20. This one is a steal. For MA residents - This bulb is also available on masssave website. But returns from that store could be a problem. Strongly recommend these bulbs. I will be purchasing these bulbs after writing this review. I have previously purchased these bulbs and will continue to buy as soon as they are on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like an incandescent bulb I use these in overhead room fans in two bedrooms. They gives plenty of light. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that the light seems harsh. Harsher than an incandescent I believe, but hard to tell for sure since it has been a while since I used incandescents. But these are instant "on", not like the florescent bulbs I had before. However, it is a good soft light, instantly bright and it should last longer than the florescents I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! LED's have come of age! These Philips have the perfect color, they are dimmable, they put off MORE than the advertised amount of light, and now they are AFFORDABLE! At least, in the special deal I grabbed off the internet around the end of November (brings them to about ten bukkaroos each, about half what they used to cost). At 11 watts each, they are far brighter than the 60W incandescents that they replace. The only quibble is that they weigh about a pound, compared to an ounce for a "regular" bulb, but for 99% of fixtures, that won't be an obstacle. And although they're only advertised as "interior use", I put them in a couple of outdoor lanterns (protected from rain, of course) and they work great! They do come on a bit dimmer at first, when it's 45 degrees outside, but they warm up in just a minute to full brightness. Goodbye, big lighting bills! Goodbye yearly bulb replacements! Hello, LED's!
