Asked by: Leeann
As the description says, that is an incandescent BR30 flood lamp (indoor 120VAC), beyond that not sure what you need. It is not the LED or compact fluorescent version of the older-type BR30 lamp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from HD is almost always my First Stop This time it was just a box of flood lights but, as usual, Home Depot was my first stop. I know I can usually find what I need at a fair price and good quality. My only wish is that HD would extend its "veterans discount" to veterans who didn't "retire" from the military. I'm a Purple Heart recipient and have "Veteran" on my drivers license... but I'm told I don't quality. I guess being wounded doesn't count.

LED's last 10x longer and cost 1/6 as much in electricity. LED's dim pretty well with most dimmers. They'll even work with high end dimmers (like Lutron Maestro) if you also put 1 incandescent in the circuit.
