Our kitchen is nice and bright with these lights. The packaging says they are dim-able and we cannot get that feature to work so not certain if it's the lights or the light switch. We like these so much, we will purchase them again!

Among all the huge variety of LED light that are available everywhere, I found this Phillips light bulb to be one of the best for your money: Price is more reasonable than the rest, the design is pretty and elegant, does a remarkable job at providing very bright light and because it is dimmable, you have more flexibility adjusting brightness.
I've been buying one every month until I replace all existing bulbs in my house that use this configuration. I have 10 so far and I am so pleased, I would highly recommend this product.

Replacing this flood light with this LED light will wave me money and trips up the ladder. This light is 20 feet up over my front door, and I always dread going up the ladder that high to change it. The low power consumption and great lighting effects of this bulb has made my wife very happy. Happy wife, Happy Home!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DavidO Actually does what it claims
I rate advertising claims below what politicians say so it's refreshing when a product does what is claimed for it. I've used full spectrum lighting (5000K light rating, simulates the sun without harmful UV rays) for 20 years. With prices improving with LEDs I'm now able to start using them.
This bulb is nice and bright, family LOVES it. I bought 4 for my kitchen for over the sink but as soon as I installed them I ordered more for the rest of my kitchen and front porch.
I'll write more in 22 years to see if they last that long, as claimed. SMILE.
Oh, I'm a real person, not hired to write a good review. It happens

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John Glad I took the plunge
Years ago when LEDs hit the scene I tried them out in my recessed kitchen fixtures. I promptly returned them because I could not stand the delay between hitting the switch and seeing the light. Especially when there were 6 different delays (6 fixtures). But when one of the CFLs burned out I decided to go with this bulb and see if the tech had gotten any better. I am pleased to report that at least in the case of this bulb, it has. The light comes on instantly and it is full brightness right away. For me, the color is great for over the counter where we prep food, but this is a personal preference thing. I am looking forward to the failure of the rest of the bulbs in the kitchen so I have an excuse to buy more of these.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DougB Excellent light, instant-on
I bought a pair of these to replace some lights in my kitchen. These are much better and don't require "warm up" time like the old ones: they come on at full strength as soon as they get power. The light is bright and clean white. I'll need to get a few more because the current mix of old lights with these creates a weird color of light. I recommend replacing all of the bulbs in a given area with the same kind.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYer Excellent bulb
I really like this bulb. I first bought one, then two more, then two more after several weeks in between to replace all five of the recessed flood lights in my kitchen. Nice bright "daylight" light. Takes a fraction of a second to come on. Would still agree with their claim about being instant on. Dimmability is excellent. Wish they were made in U.S. instead of overseas. That and the price were the reasons why I had not bought these bulbs earlier the other four altogether after trying and liking the first one I bought. I hope they last over 20 years as advertised.

This bulb produces an intense white light very similar to direct sunshine. If you are looking for a softer light with some yellow buy the soft light version. This bulb is excellent for a work area where a bright clear light is needed but may be too bright for in home situations. Bottom line pick either the daylight or the soft light versions based on how you will be using them .
