Customer Reviews

65W Equivalent Soft White (2,700K) Recessed Retrofit LED Downlights (4-Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice. Only 60Watt equivalent output, not 65 as stated. Not for damp places. Good light and great price on sale. Very easy to install. I'll keep them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Similar experience as others These were really easy to install. I put 8 of them in, in about 30 minutes. They are brighter than the florescent that they replaced and they fire up much more quickly in the room. The only downside is that they don't sit completely flush against the ceiling. However, if you don't look directly at it, then you wouldn't even know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good photos and comments make good sales! Photos and comments helped me dive-in and try this product. My biggest concern in buying the 65W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) Recessed Retrofit Down LED Light (4-Pack) was installation-Could I extract the 30 year old downlight housing and preserve the socket and electrical connection in the kitchen? Would the LED fixture fit into my 6" diameter downlight holes ? And would it fit flush against the ceiling? Took some tries and strength to extract the old housing, but the new product fit fine. I do wonder how to remove and fit a halo ring so it fits more flush, but for now it looks good and is very bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking and efficient. Very easy way to update and improve old high hat fixtures. Simple installation by electrician or knowledgeable do-it-yourself-er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement for incandecent floodlights in can light mounts The instructions in the box were pictures and not helpful at all. At first I was reluctant to attempt the installation because of the lack of instructions but started anyway. After figuring out the spring arrangement that keeps the light in the can the installation was easy. I installed all 4 in about 30 minutes. 15 minutes of the install were trying to decipher the cryptic instructions. The light work fantastic and put out twice the light of the floodlight that were in the cans. I hope they last as stated on the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less than pleased I like the way they work but am not at all happy with the way they fit in the can. Other brands use a spring clip that attaches inside the can, slides in and out. These have two 'u' shaped brackets that are an ' interference fit'. Hard to push in. So hard I cracked the ceiling along a drywall joint which meant a repair and repaint of the kitchen ceiling. I'm thinking about returning them. Would not buy this brand again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great LED conversion bulbs first of all the assembly is very well made. The pricing is certainly very attractive, before you factor the long term savings that LED provides. My only disappointment is the catch to place the assembly is not well made. Many recessed lighting fixtures use either a spring catch or springs to hold this assembly in place. After some manipulation there was some difficulty forcing the retrofit into the overhead. The recessed assembly was not anchored and kept moving while trying to jam it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED Lights for recessed cans Very easy installation. Covers up the 6" hole from the old recessed cans. Lights are cool running so I insulated above the old cans in the attic. This should reduce heat/ cooling escaping through the top of the old cans. Best of all, the cost for a 4 pack was $60 versus the individual cost of about $20 each. Would buy another 4 pack if the offer comes up again...
