Customer Reviews

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terribly short life It's always so hard to track bulb life as I never remember when i purchased any paticular bulb. While it SEEMS like fluorescent bulbs don't last long, I could never really say- UNTIL NOW. Like another reviewer, my new house had these installed by the builder 25 months ago. They first batch of 14 in the basement- the not often used basement- went dead at the year mark. I replaced some with incandescent and some with CFL (the one that looks like a curly fry). Today I replaced four more of the original bulb and the CFL replacement. The specs say 8000 hour life. I estimate that the first bulbs got less than 500 hours and they second batch at about 1200. Waste of money and filling up the landfills. April 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT Recommended, they die quickly and buzz These were installed by our builder in our brand new house about ten months ago. Since about the 6 month mark, a couple of them die every few weeks. In the past week, I've had 4 more die. There is also an annoying buzz sound from a few of them. I would never buy these and do not recommend them to anyone. Find something else. October 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Product description lacking The dimmable bulbs were not described as being for indoor use. We intend to use them around our home exterior where the worthless CFL non-dimmable bulbs flicker/strobe when used with our automatic timer system. March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good quality, nice service The light bulbs are dimmable as advertised. Of the 16 I bought, got one defect (it worked only for a day or so, after that it only stays on for the first minutes after turning on). When dimmed at the lowest brightness, it makes a little noise, but I guess that's inevitable. July 16, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3 of 12 have burned out in less than 1 1/2 years with less than an hour daily use. Short lifespan. Dims ok. I didn't notice much if any noise when dimmed. Must turn on full power for 3 minutes befiore dimming, according to instructions. Takes a few minutes to get to full brightness. I use 12 of these in my sunroom converted to a home gym. No one else uses the room, so the bulbs are on for maybe an hour per day, anywhere from 3 to 7 days per week. December 31, 2013
