Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BUZZZZ..... Purchased 8 of these to use with a dimmer switch for recessed lighting in a finished basement. All of the bulbs "buzzed/hummed" when turned on. It didn't matter if the lights were on full or if they were partially dimmed etc.. The noise was not coming from the switch rather from the bulbs themselves. Returned all 8 and purchased the same light in the ECOSMART brand and it fixed the problem. ECOSMART makes a dimmable 2 pack for around $12 as opposed to the single JUNK PHILLIPS for $11 each. FYI....dimmer switch I was using was a dimmable LUTRON 3-way. February 27, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do NOT recommend! These were installed by our builder in our brand new house about ten months ago. Since the 6 months mark, a couple of them die ever few weeks. In the past week, I've had 4 more die. They also buzz/hum as other reviewers have pointed out. I do NOT recommend these to anyone! October 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible bulbs..save your money and don't buy. Purchased 4 of these bulbs for our family room that's on a dimmer. 2 burned out within a week, 3rd burned out after about a month. They hum, and flicker when dimmed even though the packaging says dimmable. We purchased new GE softwhite bulbs for less $$ and are way better.. June 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great lighting This lighting is bright and saves money. Also dimmable. June 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bulb! The light bulb is working very well and emits a decent amount of light. May 27, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3 of 12 have burned out in less than 1 1/2 years with less than an hour daily use. Short lifespan. Dims ok. I didn't notice much if any noise when dimmed. Must turn on full power for 3 minutes befiore dimming, according to instructions. Takes a few minutes to get to full brightness. I use 12 of these in my sunroom converted to a home gym. No one else uses the room, so the bulbs are on for maybe an hour per day, anywhere from 3 to 7 days per week. December 31, 2013
