CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for only 7 watts Nice amount of lite for only 7 watts. The warm white color is also great. 2700k. Good for like a fixture on the side of the house, or smewhere where you really just want lots of light. but might want to leave on all night. Don't expect to light up you entire house for 7 watts. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Lighting I bought these for the bathroom light fixtures to replace the SLOW CFLs that took forever to get bright. These come on immediately, take even less power (they claim 25watt but are as bright as the "40watt" CFL), and will probably outlive me. And they also have a decent warm color to them - not the "bluishness" that some bulbs have. Home Depot's price was very good too - about half of what I saw online. Only issue was finding enough of them - had to go to several stores...still worth it. March 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice warm color I bought these to replace the CFL's I had in my ceiling fan. Unlike the CFL's, which seem to take forever to get bright, these are full brightness as soon as you flip the switch. They are similiar size to standard 60w incandescent bulbs. They produce the same color light as standard incandescent bulbs. February 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bulbs I love these bulbs. They are a comfortable warm color - 2700 kelvin and roughly equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent bulb. They do work with a dimmer, but it has to be the right kind of dimmer otherwise there is an annoying flicker. The Phillips website is not especially helpful, but the information can be found if you dig around. Still I love these bulbs because the light quality is great and energy savings significant. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great shape, nice output and color, but the packaging.... I was pleased to see, finally, that LEDs have made the retail market in a big way. I am convinced that the technology will reduce our carbon footprint and not leave us in the dark. Dimmable, bulb-shaped and with good color, this standard shaped bulb does the job at 7W with the output of 25W. I replaced a 40W Reveal and hardly know the difference. But the packing needs some work. This purple-colored triangular-shaped package had within it the worst kind of sharp-edged clear plastic seal. There has got to be a better way to get these to the stores. September 9, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by didn't last a year purchased these bulbs and installed them in a hard to reach location under normal use less than 1 hr per day, they both burnt out in less than a year wont do this again August 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good light I have two light fixtures in the front of my house. One is a partially enclosed light by the garage, and the other is a glass enclosed porch light. With these LED bulbs it creates exactly the right amount of light for what I wanted; enough to see the sidewalk and keys for the door, without being offensive to neighbors when left on all night. They are both on photo cells and have worked fine for the month I've had them. I especially like the light color, which is indistinguishable from a traditional incandescent. I've also noticed that the two bulbs are identical in color temperature between themselves. With 2700K CFL bulbs, I don't think I've ever seen two with exactly the same color temperature even from the same package. These are sold separately and are still identical. The only minor issue is that the light is slightly more directional than a standard incandescent. It casts slightly less light at the ground in the porch light, since the bulb is installed upright. In the garage light where it's installed inverted, this is actually a benefit. August 8, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worthless I bought a few different LEDs to try at home. This one gives off a weak and dingy light, I can't imagine any use for it February 1, 2012
