Are yhese nulbs heat resistant so they wont shatter in the hood over my commercial grill

Asked by: Jen
The issue is the cement that they use to put the base on – it could separate in high heat. You would need to buy an oven appliance bulb – most likely an A15, also sold at THD – which has the correct base glue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rough service having bought these before, i can attest to their popularity. far cheaper per bulb than ANY cfl/led/whatever "bulb" you name--far longer-lasting and hold their rated lumen output for their ENTIRE lifespan. rough-service incandescents are excellent tributes to the marvelous intelligence of Thomas Alva Edison and a well deserved slap in the face to crackifornia's gov. Moonbeam Brown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good service bulbs I looked all over the Net for rough service bulbs for my garage door opener. Home Depot had the best price-- by far. The idea of a rough service bulb over a conventional bulb is that a rough service bulb can take the abuse from the vibrations. In the past, I felt like I was constantly changing conventional bulbs for this reason. So far with the rough bulbs, no problems. They also feel "solid,"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dimable Bulbs Searched out bulbs that I could dim with my home automation system (SmartThings/GE Z-Wave switches) - and this were perfect. Little to no noise (couldn't hear anything but my house wasn't super quiet at the time...)
