83.33 lumens per watt?

The specs say 83.33 lumens per watt, but when I divide 5000 lumens by 75 watts I only get 66.67 lumens per watt. Is there some increased efficiency factor that isn't shown in the specs?
Asked by: Bud
This would be a typo n the website. 5000 Lumens is correct and the lamp consumer 75W on a reference ballast. The efficacy is 67LPW.

i am replacing a Sylvania bulb 12 years old, is this compatible?

IT would appear the end pinning is different Sylvania model F96T12/CW/HO/SS
Asked by: Dan
If yours are 12 years old the pining is probably twist lock which would be incompatible. Look at the ends on the fixture if they are round then yes if not no.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the light is great and doesn't seem to get to hot. There's really not a lot to say about a light blub of any kind. But I will say I will buy this product in all sizes I need.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Claims to be for shop lighting, NOT. Bought these for my garage because they claim to be good for a shop, which can have cool temperatures. Replacing older bulbs that were wearing out. Though nice and bright when they come on fully, that is the issue! They take a long time to warm up enough to produce full brightness in cold temperatures, worse than my old bulbs! If you are going to leave them on for a longer period, these are fine. If you need quick initiation to full brightness, pick something else!
