Answer:
This is roughly equivalent to a 75 watt incandescent lamp, but may seem brighter due to the color temperature.

Answer:
Hi Tami, yes this bulb is bright enough for a normal size bedroom. It has a color temperature of 6500K, which casts a light similar to that of natural daylight. Please let the Philips Lighting team know if you have any further questions.

Answer:
Hello,
From the provided light bulb attributes, the Philips bulb should replace the competitors product as they appear to have the same dimensions. We recommend making sure the color temperature is also the correct one for you.

Can this be used to replace a t9 22w 6400k bulb in a magnifier work lamp? What is the difference between a 6400 and 6500k and what does that measure?
Thank you in advance

Answer:
Yes, will be completely fine. Negligible difference. That # is a measure of color temperature... of how white or yellow looking the light will be. 100k difference is nothing. You'll be good.

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Did not last long The lightbulb only lasted about 7 months or so in our kitchen. I don't know if it's a typo, but this website says it is supposed to last 11 years based on 3 hours of use a day? I presume we use it maybe 6-7 hours a day, so in no way should it not even last a year. Very poor product. It was even hard to install and unnecessarily complicated. I wish the light in our rental kitchen didn't require this kind of bulb. Very pricey, low quality, short life, and it isn't even that bright. We have a very dim kitchen and must have a free standing lamp as addition in a small kitchen. May 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broken before I could use I bought 3 of these light bulbs for my home and all three were rattling with broken parts before I could even get them out of the package. I still tried all 3 and only one lit and flickered constantly. The other two wouldn't even light. My old broken ones didn't even rattle when they burned out. Horrible product! October 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good buy They don't last over a year I have to buy every year. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by COVERED FRONT PORCH USE I have two of these used in my covered front porch that is fronted by a big trellis with vines. These bulbs provide natural light so my vines grow on the inside porch side as well which is very nice. Also, the bright white light is a super security feature compared to the traditional dim yellow lights. October 31, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good. Works fine. Ihad a hard time finding this. But so far it is working fine. April 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good. I think i have this item for about a month now, idk if it really stays on for 2 years but overall, my tiny kitchen is brighter then ever. June 19, 2012
