Customer Reviews

Rated 1.2 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice color, but buzzes dimmed, and has short delay coming on I bought this with some other similar bulbs of a different brand assuming it would be a bit better because of the higher price. Not so. This was the worse bulb in every way: 1. Packaging is horrible to get into (other packaging is a breeze) 2. Delay coming on (other one came on instantly) 3. Buzzes when dimmed (other one didn't buzz) That said, this was better than other CFL floods I've bought in the past, which took a long time to warm up and didn't have as good color. The technology, thankfully, is making progress. June 18, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Functional but longevity not there I have 6 can lights in my kitchen. I have these in all of them. I get maybe 6-9 months, per bulb, before they burn out. The life expectancy is 7.3 yrs. based on 3 hrs. / day. We use them probably 5-6 hrs. / day, which translates to ~ 3.5 yrs. I'm no where near that number. I continue to buy them only because it is difficult to find a dimmable CFL. I think I need to look harder for a better replacement. September 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Buy These If You Want Dimmable Lighting Pro- At full brightness they have the best soft CFL light I have seen. Cons- CANNOT be dimmed without a LOUD buzzing. Light quality at low levels is horrible. Avoid these and just get the non-dimmable if you like this light otherwise use the Halogen dimmable by Philips or the EcoSmart dimmables. May 8, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stated as lasting 8000 hours but all die at about 25% of that. I purchased numerous bulbs. They all last only about 1200 to 1600 hours of use and they are kind of expensive. Inconstant bulbs are actually less costly over all due to their lower initial cost and longer life. I have tried this product for a few years now. They need to improve the durability of the technology and its cost. April 25, 2014
