Customer Reviews

Centium 58/72-Watt 2-Lamp T12 3 ft. or 4 ft. Rapid Start High Frequency Electronic Fluorescent Replacement Ballast is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement for Tar Magnetic ballasts I replaced 6 tar magnetic ballasts with these electronic ballasts in a country church. The power to the church must be pretty unstable; because the old ballasts are starting to go quite regularly now. The church was built in the mid 80's with about 40 T12 double lamp surface mount fixtures. I have yet to have a failed electronic ballast from Home Depot. I am sticking with 34w T12 48" bulbs as I have no desire or budget to convert the church to better fixtures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO far so good! After replacing all the tubes in my office the old magnetic ballast failed on one fixture. Bought and installed this ballast. Easy to install. Notice this fixture now lights instantly with absolutely no flicker - now I will replace the others one by one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install and it Works The hardest part about this is install is buying it. It uses the small size wires, the same screw holder, is the same size but lots lighter and colors of wires are easy to figure out. Excellent product and I make lots of $$ replacing the old 3 pound ones with these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy, Simple Installation I wanted to replace the entire light fixture but was unable to find a replacement the same length. I therefore decided to just change the ballast. This replacement ballast is lighter weight but is the same length and has an identical screw pattern as the original. Took only about five minutes to remove and then rewire the replacement. Lights come on instantly and no more flicker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great so far What can I say, it was a replacement ballast. It was easy to install and it worked for the last month. Only time will tell if it will last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replace these regularly I have replaced a lot of Ballasts and Home Depot always seams to have the ones I need - this particular model seems to be the most common

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best fluorescent ballast ever manufactured by the hands of man Solid state ballasts are lighter and cheaper than the old style. Does the job, weighs less, costs less, what's not to love.
