Used this bulb to replace my HB3 9005 high beam bulb in my truck. This bulb is far brighter than the stock bulb and works well in the housing (see photo below, LH beam is new bulb). Simple modification of the locking tab on top and it fit right in. This bulb is made in Germany which I was surprised by but glad to see. Can't beat the price either and free shipping if you order enough stuff. Awesome find!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SkateDoctor Great headlight bulbs, not knock-offs from China
I got exactly what I expected. The price was the best I could find. Buying on line and picking up at the store also worked out great. It took 5 minutes in the store and eliminated the shipping cost.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by NCBurb Brightest bulb out there
I used this for a 9005 application. It is within the legal requirements and provides the maximum of lumens per watt. A slight mod to the mounting tab with a file is required but this info is online. No gimmicks or tints just bright white light. I have not used them long enough to know lifespan but their reputation is stellar. Seems odd to buy car headlight bulbs at Home Depot but they have the best price anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BDlongtimeuser Excellent quality! Halogen / 65Watt / Color Temperature 3450
These are excellent bulbs made in Germany to replace the OEM bulbs that are no longer made for my car. Not the same color temperature as my HID low beams, but close, and will not burn out like the hotter running cheap bluish bulbs sold everywhere. Much better price from HD than other internet locations. Just make sure of your vehicles application. This replaced a dual functioning bulb : high beam / daytime running light on my vehicle. (Most part stores have improper information, since my vehicle has HID low beams AND these separate high beam / daytime running light bulbs they always assume the customer is looking to replace a low beam halogen with an HID look bulb). Use a glove ( I used a nitrile glove ) when installing to keep skin oil and dirt off the bulb glass for longer bulb life.
