Customer Reviews

SensoTouch Wet and Dry Electric Razor with Precision Trimmer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 990.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but 2D isn't a good choice for me. Moving up from a 7345XL that served me well. The DualPrecision heads GyroFlex 2D contouring system sounded great, but doesn't give me the close shaves that the 7345XL gave me. Wet shaving is comfortable but not as close as my old shaver (even when used dry). Maybe the 3D models would be a better choice for me. The beard trimmer is awesome and I love it! The 2D heads are probably the problem and rethinking that my choice should have been the higher priced 8100 series. Still it's a solid shaver, just not what I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Shabby and Friend Philips I am almost 80 years old, which says a lot to some people, and I've been using Philips (Norelco) shavers for as long as I can recall, which says a whole lot to some people. I began my very first job in 1950, retiring from my last one in 2002, and I depended on my friend, Philips, to do due diligence on my face. Service was rendered every time in such a way, my face never complained. Thanks, old friend. You're still doing your duty and still dependable as sunrise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected Was excited to try this shaver. But after using it for several weeks, I find that it does not perform to my expectations. Chin area is very difficult to get close shave, and the trimmer attachment is worthless. Had a Norelco years ago and it was a wonderful shaver. Switched to a competitor 10 years ago and when it finally died, I decided to go back to the Norelco. Big mistake. Will be going back to that brand very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice shaver This is my 4th Norelco shaver. Three of them are still working. Never have any problems. Have never had to have any repaired. I use lectric shave to prepare my beard. The shaver does the rest. Very nice close shave. Easy to clean. Charges fast. I have used shaving cream with it but prefer to use the lectric shave. I use one of my other shavers to trim my sideburns. Never have to deal with cutting myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked for five years ! I bought this products in 2012 in Spain, and till last week I never had any issues with this products. I charged it as usual, but the spinner worked several times with pauses and then completely stopped. Its quite sad since I really liked this shaver. Don't know if it is possible to fix... or I will have to throw it away... :( Would be nice to receive any suggestions or support

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy peasy It is sleek and handles with ease over my skin. Feels great and I finish up with the trimmer attachment. There's no pulling. Very easy to clean. Thanks for a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shaves close BUT.... Having used a number of electric razors over the years, with just about as many design differences between them, I have so far been most pleased with this model over all the others I have used..EXCEPT and the only reason I give it 3 stars and not 5 is I have not been able to find replacement razor heads for this model as per the directions. They require RQ11, this website does not list them nor does any other store (Wal-Mart's : 5 of them. Meijer : 3 of them). So what's up Philips/Norelco?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best electric razor I've ever used. Comfortable to use, close shave. I'm 53 and I've tried numerous electric razors (including other Norelco models) in the past. The Norelco 1150X is hands-down the best I've ever used. You can use the razor either wet or dry. I normally use it in conjunction with regular shaving cream (I use Edge) which makes for a very comfortable shaving experience. The razor provides an extremely close shave and conforms well in problem areas. There is a design flaw in the switch covering, which cracked in my unit and resulted in product failure, but Norelco sent me a replacement razor, no questions asked. My guess is that this flaw has been corrected in current production. Excellent product and value.
