I purchased these on sale and used the $5 off energy coupons. I used 4 of these to replace the incandescent bulbs in my two garage door openers. The kids are always playing in the garage and setting off the sensors which cause the lights to come on during the day. These bulbs will reduce the electricity down to 42W from 240W using the 4 60w bulbs. They are great lights.
I attempted to put them in my furnace room that has a motion sensor switch. The switch is about 6 years old and must not be rated for LEDs. The bulbs remain on just enough to have a light glow. I will have to change the switch as I won't be saving electricity if the LED bulbs are still drawing 24/7.
The circumference is slightly larger than a standard bulb so these did not fit in the bottle of my workshop lights that have the glass protector and cage. Still a great bulb. Prices are finally coming down enough on some of the LEDs to make them worth it.

Good quality for daylight applications. Dimmable but not in the range of some other LEDs. My dimmers trigger the light on at about 1/2 brightness but then I can turn it down to about 15% (a guess). It turns on instantly, unlike some other LEDs. Hum reported by a lot of U.S. reviews surprised me. I noticed a little hum from about 30cm but very ignorable and I couldn't detect it beyond 1m in a dead-quite room. "Lasts 22.8 Years" - well, as the package says, that's a guess based on "engineering testing and probability analysis". They are so confident that they guarantee this product for 3 years. So keep your receipt and expect to replace your bulb in 3-5 years. And that's pretty good.

Title says it all. I replaced six CFL bulbs in my ensuite bathroom with these LEDs. On a regular switch, they looked great. The second I installed an LED compatible dimmer, buzzing throughout the range of the dimmer (even full bright) and flicker as the lights were dimmed.

In spite of its CRI of 80, this bulb is the finest efficient light bulb I've seen. The quality of the light it produces is so good (even better than a competing brand's 93 CRI bulb) that no one I've shown it to has been able to tell the difference between this and incandescent light.
Not only that, but this bulb's unique design eliminates the need for a metal heatsink, making it lighter and cheaper. It's also made of plastic, not glass, so should be harder to break. There's no discernible flicker, and it is completely silent (I don't have a dimmer so haven't tried that).
If you don't care for fluorescent lights or haven't been happy with the performance of other LED bulbs, I urge you to try this new one.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Burnabee Dimmable yes, but doesn't turn off completely
Bought 6 LED 10.5W Slimline for various ceiling fixtures that have 3 bulbs, all have switches have modern dimmers [less than 2 years old]. LED's do have nice colour and brightness, but when dimmer is turned off the LED's remain just barely on, they would be no good in a bedroom at night. The solution was just put in 2 LED's and one of the older bulbs I was using before, so now the dimming function completely works. The dimmers cost $57 when new, but I won't be replacing them as any cost savings from the LED's is not a good return on investment in the LED's, still I'll save on the 2 LED's in the fixture in the long term.

Once installed in any household lamp, they look and act like any other light bulb and are supposed to last 22.8 years. They will use only 17.5% of the wattage of a 60 watt bulb. 100 watt-equivalent bulbs are also available. Soft white or bright white in all bulbs, which are dimmable. Pricy at $11 or $12 each, they will save more than 10 times this amount in energy over the life of the bulb.

These are great light bulbs so far, assuming they last as long as they say! They work perfectly on dimmer switches, dead quiet unlike some others that make buzzing sound eg.(cree) how ever if not using dimmer switch cree are perfect and use 1.5 watts less, for what seems to be similar light output, they are priced approximately the same. I bought both kinds so we will see witch ones hold up longer

After using (& correctly disposing of) too many cheap cfls I finally came across these. At $12 each I bought 4 to check them out. They are as bright as the 60 watt Incandescent bulbs that they replace (in my dimmable fixtures) and light instantly with no cfl lag/warmup.
The best thing about these is that they don't have a glass bulb like the cfls and won't shatter if dropped!
Looks promising.....I will test these for a few months & if they are durable will outfit the rest of the house with them.
