Have only used it a few times so far. It does make awesome grilled cheese! The fajitas came out pretty good. Fried green tomatoes...so so. Fresh cut french fries were pretty good. Will be trying the baking feature to see how that works (you must buy the additional accessories for this). Clean up is easy.

Since we got our air fryer about a month ago we have used it almost everyday for all kinds of food. We have cooked bratwurst, garlicbread, pigs in a blanket, pork chops, and fries and everything turns out amazing. I will never go back to the old grease method again.

We have had our Air Fryer for 2 years and continue to find new uses. It is wonderful for cooking frozen items - french fries, tater tots, hash browns,onion rings, mushrooms, etc. Returns the crisp to previously cooked fried chicken.
Have not baked in it yet - but we enjoy using it almost daily. My son is borrowing for a few days - to give it a try - this will be a test on how much we will miss it.

The user manual states not to cook raw potatoes above 356 degrees Fahrenheit yet the settings are marked at 30 degree increments so you either have to use 330 or 360. While the recipe manual doesn't give this warning and instructs to cook them above this temperature. The user manual instructs as a general rule to cook things at 70 degrees lower than you would in an traditional oven and for 1/2 the time. I've found you need to use the same temperature setting and the same time. This does not brown on both sides. The only large item I've cooked were pork chops (1 at a time) and had to turn them 1/2 way through so both sides were browned, and I had to cook them for 16 minutes each after preheating (3/4 in. thick bone-in). In cooking potato rounds in a single layer I had to cook them on 360 degree setting and for 12 min. after preheating and shaking 1/2 way through (they were lightly golden), the bag of potato rounds said to bake in the oven at 350 for 10-15 min.

I really wanted this for Christmas and was sold on it when the sales clerk raved about french fries in it. They, however, had used the machine that cuts the potatoes into very thin spirals. Not wanting to buy two gadgets, I just followed the recipe for french fries in the cookbook which came with the air fryer. The prep time and cooking time took over an hour, and the fries had absolutely no flavor, even after adding salt. We ended up throwing most of them out. One can hardly compare these to true french fries. I'm so disappointed that my husband is returning the air fryer to the store this afternoon.

I have bought and tested many cooking products - this one lives up to the hype for sure !!!! Don't really care about cooking fries but it does wonders with fish, chicken, pork. I've found cooking on medium heat for 1/2 cooking time then finishing with charring on highest heat works well. Checking food's progress is simple...just open the draw and adjust heat setting and time. The recipe book specifies high heat, but things dried out too fast. I prefer to cook FAST with minimum cleanup.........LOVE this product. PERFECT for single people or couples. I suggest buying the grille pan and the 'double' the area item. Initial expense ? - yes but it saves so much time and energy. My convection oven takes 20 minutes just to warm up.......much more efficient than an oven or toaster oven.
