I want to raise the height of a fairly heavy table by about 6 inches. Can I stack two glass bricks under each leg? Will the glass bricks be stable? Will they hold the weight? (Or are they hollow?)

Answer:
Glass blocks are a non load bearing material. For information purposes, the compressive strength of hollow glass blocks is 400-600 psi. This is based on the weight placed at the edges of the blocks not the recessed area of the block.

I plan to build a wall for one side of a shower with these, and there will be a "raw" edge where the door opening is. Is there a special rounded block for that edge, as you offer for the 4" thick blocks? Thank you.

Answer:
Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, We reached out to the MFG for more information and below is their response.
"The ThinLine Series glass blocks are designed for straight walls attached to three or four sides. For a three sided project, the un-attached side should be no longer than 72.”
For the type of project described in the question, we’d recommend using the Premiere Series Glass Blocks".

Answer:
You would need to check with your local store for what they might have in inventory, however, the ThinLine Series Glass Block is not normally a stocked item at the store. This item can be ordered through the store from the manufacturer in even case quantities of 12/case.

I didn't realize the pan was so shallow. 3 walls are tiled and I need height on the opening. Need to keep the shower curtain in and the water from splashing out all over the floor. I would need just one row all the way across. If the answer is yes, can you tell me what materials I would need?
