Customer Questions & Answers

can I get an end block to match?

Doing a shower wall and need a finish end.
Asked by: hobbs
End blocks are available in the Decora or IceScapes pattern. You could finish off you panel with one on those with the VUE pattern as the field blocks or, another way to finish off a glass block wall would be to cut pieces of ceramic tile, glass tile, etc., to the size/shape of the glass block and attach them to the ends. You can see an example of this at this link: The first couple of pictures show glass block panels finished this way.

Does this block offer enough privacy to be use in a bathroom window by the shower?

Asked by: Rasmatas
No. This pattern has minimum privacy and maximum light transmission. You may want to consider the IceScapers Pattern.

I would like to use these as a 4" riser for a bath vanity/install led light strip underneath. Could it handle the weight?

Would use 3 blocks x 2 blocks for 36" vanity. Saw a pic online with no info. Wondering if it could handle the weight. Also what adhesive would be best as securing glass to wood edge of vanity base.
Asked by: TallPaul
Glass Blocks are a non-load bearing product. The compressive of hollow glass blocks is 400-600 psi. It is recomended that the glass blocks be built within a structural opening.
