Yes, it has a thermostatically controlled blower that comes on or goes off automatically depending on the heat of the fire box. When you turn off the stove the fan continues to run until the fire box has cooled.

Answer:
Handyman Hudson Here: you will need Hallowed vent pipe , which has stainless steel interior and galvanied exterior, essentially a tube within a tube, along with wall thimbles to protect the heat of the exhaust pipe from your combustible wall. Fireproof insulation, for the wall thimble, and heat resistant silicone to adjoin all exhaust tube joints.

No chimney or fresh air pipe is included. You have to get everything from the exit pipe stub on the stove to the outside depending on your setup. We got ours from HomeDepot.com and everything fit great.

Answer:
No. It has an internal thermostat controlled by a variable control knob. You can't set it on 70 degrees and have it start and stop to maintain. You usually have to adjust the knob throughout the day to maintain a comfortable temperature.

why does the glass keep getting dirty lasts about 12 hours or less before it is dirty. Flames were big and nice for about the first 18 hours now smaller and the glass gets dirty. Cracked a window in the kitchen...turned the trim counterclockwise first to 1 then to two.

Answer:
You are burning wood and that makes smoke and ash whether you see it or not. It is only natural for the glass in the combustion chamber to get sooty. There is nothing wrong with the stove and the dirty glass should be expected. Just wipe it down with a paper towel and clean it with a little white vinegar.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 84 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bang for the buck Received the stove and it was damaged - they had poor packaging with nothing to protect the top so the paint was rubbed off because of something sitting on top of the box. Home Depot did take care of me though and all is well. This stove was light enough that I was able to get it in the home with the help of one other person. I had 2 handymen that were going to help me with assembling it that backed out on me, but thanks to all of the helpful hints and reviews here I was able to be wonder woman and install the whole thing myself. This stove puts out great heat and I am very happy with it. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great heat! Love my pellet stove! The heat with little mess. I've used this stove for 3 years and I'm buying another for the house I just bought. Love the big hopper and thermostat control. I've had to replace a small piece that holds the blower fan in place because it wears a hole and makes the blower incredibly noisy (eventually you can not use it); easy to replace. Now I order one to have one on hand because mid cold season it takes a couple weeks to get the replacement part. Easy to clean. Buy the craftsmen pellet stove vacuum; makes cleaning so much easier!! September 25, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This stove worked great the first year but after that it seemed like there was always something going wrong. Replacement parts are expensive. The company's customer service has vastly improved over the last couple of years but I expected a better stove for the price. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pellet Stove This pellet stove was easy to install, I've had it for 2 weeks with the weather starting to cool and me being the kind that is freezing all the time and is use to wood heat this pellet stove has proven itself to keep me warm. It is very easy to use, I clean it out about every other day depending on the usage. So far the only small con I notice is when the stove is filling the firepot pellets periodically bounce out of it. Has nice basic look. September 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Do not purchase Like many other reviews state, the bushing on the blower go out within 4-6 weeks of use resulting in an unbearable rattling. That isn't my primary issue with the stove. I reported the bushing issue to the company and they said the would send a replacement; waited two months and the replacement never arrived. Contacted them again and mysteriously one shows up the following week, without any instructions on how to replace. I contacted them yet again this heating season because the replacement went out as usual, but still haven't heard from them after two weeks. Overall, product isn't the worst, but customer service doesn't exist and most complaints are just shrugged off. February 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this stove! I have a 2-floor cube-shaped house of about 2000 sq ft. with a rather open layout. I spent almost $3000 last year on propane just to keep the house at 63'F. I installed this stove about 2 weeks ago, and it looks like I may end up using only about $1000 worth of pellets. On its lowest Auto setting it seems to be able to keep the house at about 67'F, and with only a small wiggle of the dial up, a comfy 72'F. Easy to clean, easy to fill, large hopper. Just make sure you have a good source of pellets! October 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall: Great Buy Not only did i get a huge savings from propane, but it will pay for itself within 2 years! Heats my 1000 sg ft home perfectly. Without having to turn it way up, or way down. The hopper size is pretty close, I was able to fit the full amount in there, but there really is no need to. The only reason I rated it a bit low was because it could use an actual ash pan for cleaning, which isn't too hard to do, but it does have to be done daily when the temps drop really low, around -30 below zero. It has been in the 30-ish range and I haven't had to clean it now for almost a week. Figuring out how to set the thermostat only took about a day to figure out, by setting it in the middle, and adjusting according to temperature in the rooms. Will need to adjust the air trim based on the brand, and type of pellets used. Follow the instructions, and it will be easy. I never had to adjust it beyond one setting up, or down. NOTE: check insurance requirements for the installation prior to actually installing. My insurance company made me meet certain requirements beyond the manufacturers recommendations. March 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal I have just installed this product last week, it appears to be very efficient, starts quickly, heats very fast, relatively quiet compared to last two stoves that I have owned. This was bought as a replacement and was very easy to switch. My home is at 7,800 feet and stove appears to burn clean with very little smoke even on startup. Automatic temperature control works well and once desired temperature range was found, easy to maintain. October 5, 2013
