It was a breeze to assemble and took only a few minutes. I used one of my own wrenches to tighten the bolts. Looking at the parts, you could figure out how to put it together without the directions. However, you need the directions just to know where to put the washers on the bottom bolt.

Yes, you will need to assemble it yourself and there are very few steps in doing so. My 16 year old daughter did it in a matter of minutes!

You have to put it together with a few bolts and nuts and there is very clear instructions.
The rack includes all the nuts and bolts and even the tools you will need. I used my own wrench which is bigger and easier to use but their tools will work fine.
This is a quality wood rack, strong, and will do the job. It also looks nice full of wood ; )

You are correct that it comes in the box and needs to be assembled. It was rather easy to assemble and directions were provided.
However, it was missing parts and I had to contact customer service to have them send out the missing parts.
Once the parts came (10 days) it was put together and I am actually pretty happy with it.

I have no idea as I would not hesitate to put this in my home. The rounded sides make it a pleasant design look. My only thought is that they don't want the cover, which could be flammable, in the house.

67br71: It might state that as most large firewood racks are used outdoors. Being that it's metal, I don't see a problem with it being in your cellar, but if I were you, I would put a small tarp under to catch the chips/bark that come with having a log pile. Stay warm!

Heck. It's just painted metal--You could use it anywhere! I can't figure why "outdoor use only," unless their lawyers were concerned about spontaneous combustion or something.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 82 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product This firewood rack was easy to assemble, sturdy and the price was right. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed at a great price. For the money, this wood rack is a great value!!! Easy to assemble and very sturdy. And best of all, it fits perfectly between the fence and building. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So simple to put together and very sturdy It took me 15 minutes to put together and cleaned up the whole area in the backyard getting all the firewood off the ground. Nice size and very sturdy, I was concerned about the price and whether or not it would be something that would hold up, but it seems like it will last for a long time. June 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by They are all basically the same, standard framing, simple assembly I already had one by a different company and they are all basically the same. My only complaint was when I picked this up at the store, the box was in really bad shape so I had a feeling some hardware would be missing. I was right, all the hardware was loose. Evidently, this had been previously purchased, hardware opened and then returned. I had to buy some washers and nuts in order to put it together. Very simple to put together and seems sturdy enough to do what I need it to do. The one I bought last year has held up very well, I expect this one will do the same. Holds a good amount of wood. It is low to the ground so I put it on blocks to raise it some. June 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by different size pieces It was easy to put together . The issue is the are 2 brackets the attach to the legs. They are supposed to be the same length but one is 44 inches and the other is 46 inches. Does not stand level. Waiting for company to send replacement part. May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive Log Rack Good value. Easy to assemble. Looks good. Shipped yo te store in short order. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice product -good $$ Rack was simp!e to put together. Sturdy. Arrived as scheduled. Fair price. April 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Very easy to assemble. This is a second firewood rack I have ordered. On this second firewood rack horizontal base bars were not equal length (1 1/2" difference); however, the manufacturer promptly sent me another base bar to match the longer bar. March 8, 2016
