Overall, nice product. Assembly is straightforward. Couple glitches though - half the number of required washers were included and the supplied wrench was the wrong size. Called company about the washers, and they sent them to me quickly, free of charge - nice service! I used my own wrench.
Loaded the rack up with wood about a foot from the top. Saw some slight flexing of the main cross bars, but not too worried. Can't say this will hold a 1/4 cord. 1/8 is more like it.

I am happy with this purchase. The firewood rack is easy to assemble. It is lightweight but sturdy. It is the right size for the amount of wood we burn during the winters in Houston, Texas.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Really good and simple fire wood storage unit.
This fire wood storage rack was very easy to assemble. Probably took me all of fifteen minutes to put it together and it takes up very little room outside. It's very convenient and keeps my wood off of the damp ground..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Venti2005 Sturdy Firewood Rack - NOT EXPENSIVE!!!!
Easy to assemble. Did it while waiting on plumber to install new hot water heater. Not rickety, very sturdy and we have it filled to the top with oak - No signs of weakness or sagging. I set it up on the 12x12 brick pavers (also from Home Depot) to ensure that no bugs would get into the firewood!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by njdad Basic firewood rack but serves it purpose
I've just gotten into getting some firewood for next season for our fireplace. Last year was the first year I really used it so I wanted to get a small supply of wood now. Nothing in "cord units" but maybe 40 - 50 pieces of wood? That's how much I use in a season, mostly for ambience around the holidays.
So I was looking for a relatively inexpensive stand and I found this at Home Depot. Its not pricey and it serves its purpose so there isn't all that much to complain or praise. its all metal and pretty easy to put together. Its 4 pieces of metal, 2 for the base, 2 for the sides and 2 crossbars for support, held together by screws.
The bottom of the rack is open, just in case you didn't notice in the picture. The only minor complaint is the edges of the rack bottom thatt go up against the side bars are not flush. They curve downward. Imagine two parallel long upside U's. They form the base. They are held together by the tall upside U bars, one on each end. Where the base meets the side is not flush like a T. So the wood at the ends could slide down a bit. If you looked from the side, it would look like a lower case h. Not the end of the world at all. I just put some bigger pieces on the ends and stacked the wood loosely.
