Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wingwiper New Fenwick fireplace glass door
I just finished installing the fireplace door and the Mortar isn't even dry yet. It looks great and as you can see it was installed on a Rock fireplace. Installing the doors was easy and because I installed on a rock fireplace, some extra work was necessary. I bolted the fireplace door in place with the included hardware and then I bent and screwed some metal fabric behind the door frame, top, left and right side. To this metal fabric I applied Refactory Mortar, so now the entire backside of the fireplace door is sealed in mortar and looks like it is part of the fireplace.. It is now pretty much air tight and trimmed out as if it was meant to be. I purchased the metal fabric and the refactory mortar at Home Depot and I am very happy with the out come.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mtbikerbob Great door set and a great value
After first shopping at local hearth shops and not finding anything for less than $600 I decided to try Home Depot. I am very pleased with this unit, we considered another model from this same company but to get this finish we went with the Fenwick. The unit arrived in less than a week and it was very securely packed. The unit is rather heavy (maybe 40lbs) but is fairly straightforward to install. The glass doors open all the way flush with the fire place brick, but the screen door only can open about 3/4 of the way and they won't stay fully open. Since this is covering a gas log set the screen part may be unnecessary, Hopefully the unit last many years

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Murfi Fenwick door is awesome!
I researched affordable fireplace doors for a very long time. Found this on another site but chose to purchase thru HD in case I wasn't happy with it. I LOVE these doors! Have had tons of compliments. Bought these doors to replace our ugly gold ones (circa1969)!! Easy to install, good instructions (my husband and I installed ourselves), great quality product and they look great!!! I am very pleased and highly recommend.

Good solid doors. Very nice design. Only complaints are the right screen panel will not stay fully open, and the lower attachment bracket on right sie came loose.

First of all let me say that i am not sure i have ever prchased a produt thatvwas packed as well for shipping, i like that.
I have had an old set of bifold doors that were showing their age and had decided to upgrade to these about a year ago but didn't pull the cord until just a week or so ago. They are a great set of doors and much more convenient than my old bifold doors. The screen doors behind the glass are great too and both provide a much better view of my fire than the old doors.
I have three issues that kept me from giving the product stars though. 1) The 3" insulation was not wide enough to fit the channel on the right side of the doors, facing from the front, too keep it in place once the doors were in a vertical position. I taped it at the top and hope that contact with the bricks will keep it in place. 2) The screws and braces at the bottom look, from the instructions, like the braclet's should lay flat against the face of the doors after their tabs are placed in the holes on the back side of the doors, but they don't. If they are not supposed to then that should be corrected in the instructions, if they should lay flat then something I received was wrong. 3) I have had glass doors on my fireplace for well over 30 years. Sometimes I've burn the fireplace with the glass doors open and sometimes closed. Theses doors have a big warning not ever close the glass doors while there is a fire burning yet their literature and their Web site show them being used with the glass doors closed and the doors have a draft control that they would never need if they were not intended to be used with the glass doors closed. It seems like there is a disconnect between your corporate attorneys and your product engineers.
